The next Step is creating your website. You have 3 basic choices
Each of these has its Pros and Cons, it really comes down to what you want to do with your website. Please note there is a learning curve towards using all the 3 different ways.
Creating your own website is fairly straight forward especially if you use this programme, which Fabian recommends as well.
This program is great for creating simple website (e.g small no. of pages), i.e. your sales page, squeeze page etc. As you have control over every aspect of the webpage, it is very good for SEO. You just have to use a template and modify it.
If you want to go through the blogging or CMS method. It is very straight forward, as your Control Panel in your Hosting Account will help you set it up. The only part you have to worry about is customizing it to suit your needs.
Many of you will probably ask "Which one is better?" No worries, I asked the same question too.
I personaly prefer Joomla because of the scalability of it, like integrating subscription based membership, own personal shopping chart, forum integration etc. As you can see there are tons of modification that you can do with it.
Wordpress is THE Blogging platform, and if you solely want to just write articles on your blog, then wordpress might be the one for you. It is a lot simpler, but still require a bit of a learning curve.
Below is an article I found that will help you decide if you want to use Wordpress or Joomla
Wordpress vs. Joomla: A Handy Guide
Anyway the most important thing I can advice is Choose one of the three methods, make a commitment to yourself and do whatever it takes to succeed in it despite any difficulties. Remember we are here to learn to create a business to make money, not about creating a good looking website.
